NDIS Basketball Programs

We are delighted to announce the opportunity for NDIS participants to engage in a range of ongoing Basketball Programs.  Support Worker Co and Brisbane Basketball Inc have partnered to offer exciting Basketball programs to the NDIS Community across Brisbane.

Brisbane Basketball Inc (BBI) is one of the largest and most well-known sporting organisations in South East Queensland and is home to over 4,000 athletes.

BBI are now taking registrations for our Term 1 Basketball fundamentals programs for NDIS participants as follows:

  • DAY: Thursdays

    TIME: 10am - 12noon

    VENUE: Auchenflower Stadium, 16 Dixon Street, Auchenflower

    HOW OFTEN: Weekly

    COMMENCEMENT DATE: 17th February 2022

  • DAY: Sundays

    TIME: 9am - 11am

    VENUE: Indooroopilly State High School, Cnr Ward Street and Turner Street

    HOW OFTEN: Weekly

    COMMENCEMENT DATE: 20th February 2022

MORE DETAILS

NDIS Participants attending the programs will be provided:

  • Basketball Jersey;

  • Accredited and experienced coaches/support workers;

  • Ability to learn a wide range of basketball skills; and  

  • Participate in a group environment in a team-based sport.


    Cost of Program

    The programs will be charged to NDIS Packages in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Limits for Group and Centre Based Activities which are a line item within participants NDIS Core Budgets.
